For almost 3 years, I worked with an internal creative department at Apple called Employee Engagement. In addition to creating lots of inoffensive, internal-facing videos, we came up with initiatives and inward facing campaigns. These ranged from employee products, charitable programs, ways to communicate about the new Apple campus and everything in between. But it all started with a flowery, watercolored video and thank you card sent to each Apple employee.

The warm reception of this program and our quick, efficient pipeline lead to a series of explanation videos sent via HTML email to each employee. Dry subjects like healthcare, bonus giftcards and RSUs got animated into little bite-sized watchable boxes.

We helped with new strategic ways to think about and visualize some common HR functions in ways that were more “Apple-like”.
